How to refresh FieldStone in ChatGPT

Refresh

Why it needs it

ChatGPT keeps its own list of what FieldStone can do, taken the day you connected. When FieldStone adds something new, such as drafting an estimate, ChatGPT keeps working from the old list until you refresh it.

Nothing is wrong with your connection, and nothing in FieldStone has changed or been lost. It takes about a minute.

Refresh it

  1. 1

    Open FieldStone in ChatGPT's settings

In ChatGPT, click your name at the bottom left, then Settings. Under Integrations, open Plugins and choose FieldStone in the installed list.

  2. 2

    Press Refresh

Press Refresh. ChatGPT asks FieldStone for the current list and swaps the old one out.

    Check what it may use

While you are there, look at its permission. Allow low-risk tools lets ChatGPT look things up without asking each time. Anything that reaches a customer still waits for your approval in FieldStone.

  4. 4

    Start a new chat

A chat that was already open keeps the old list. Start a new one and ask for the new thing, for example “Draft an estimate for the Miller deck rebuild”.

If it still isn't there

Remove FieldStone from ChatGPT and add it again with the connect guide. Adding it again makes ChatGPT read the list from scratch. Your customers, jobs and files stay in FieldStone untouched.

Refresh, new chat, ask. That is all it takes after a FieldStone update.
