What StoneMeet is
Most meetings produce three or four things that matter and a lot of talking around them. StoneMeet takes the meeting — your notes, or a recording of it — and pulls out the parts worth keeping: what was decided, what someone agreed to do, and what nobody could answer.
Then it does the bit that normally never happens. An action can become a task with a name on it. A decision can become something your business remembers, so the next person to ask does not have to find someone who was in the room.
Step by step
- 1
Set the meeting up
Open StoneMeet and create one: give it a name, a date, and who was there. The attendee list is not decoration — it is how the actions get pointed at real people afterwards.Monday productionMon 16 Mar, 7:30 AMWho was there - 2
Bring the meeting in
Paste the notes you already typed, or upload a recording and let FieldStone transcribe it. A transcript separates the speakers, so a line in the minutes can be traced back to whoever actually said it.Paste notesOr uploadmonday-call.m4a - 3
Get the gist and the list
You get a short summary of the meeting, and beneath it every decision, action and open question found in it, one to a row. The summary is for people who missed it. The list is the part you work through.SummaryDecisionActionQuestion - 4
Go through the list
Each row starts as needing review, and nothing moves until you say so. Apply the ones that are right, dismiss the ones that were just talk — meetings produce plenty of both — and what is left is an honest record rather than a transcript of everything that was said out loud.AppliedNeeds reviewDismissedDismissApply - 5
An action becomes a task
Apply an action and it turns into a real task on the board with an owner and a due date. It is the same task list as the rest of FieldStone, so it shows up in the places your team already looks instead of in a document nobody opens twice.Re-price the Oak St change orderFri 20 Mar - 6
A decision becomes something the business remembers
Apply a decision and it is pinned into your business's memory — the shared set of facts FieldStone draws on when it answers a question or drafts something for you. It is marked as not yet verified until someone confirms it, so a half-decision made at 4pm on a Friday cannot quietly become policy.Business memoryWe no longer take on flat-roof work under 400 sq ft.Not verified yetConfirm - 7
Send the minutes round
Email the summary to whoever needs it, in your branding. It sends the minutes only — never the transcript — so nobody who missed the meeting gets a word-for-word record of how it actually went. You can copy or export it too.Minutes — Monday productionMinutes only — the transcript stays here
The meeting is over when the actions have owners — not when everybody leaves the call.
